Porsche North America reported is October sales yesterday, and the numbers are impressive: The 3,211 cars sold this month represent a huge, 41 percent jump over the 2,270 car sold in October 2011.Porsche credits the introduction of the new Cayenne Diesel and Cayenne GTS models, and strong sales for the Boxster and 911.
Despite the impact of Hurricane Sandy, October was an excellent month for American auto sales.
Ford posted record third quarter profit margins; Chrysler had its best sales since before the financial crisis, and GM beat expectations.
