Sacramento County Sheriff?s Deputies say a woman slapped one of them in the face so she could be thrown in jail and forced to stop smoking.
Etta Lopez, 31, attacked a deputy outside of the Sacramento County Jail Wednesday.
Deputies say Lopez admitted to waiting for hours. She allegedly planned to hit someone in law enforcement so she could be in a jail cell, forced to be without cigarettes.
Apparently, the patch or nicotine gum weren?t options for Lopez.
